Cars and other vehicles have been recorded in a unique way that colour the sound of the vehicle passing by. 

Samples have been recorded in a unique way that colour the sound of the vehicle passing by, for example; A plastic bucket was placed by a large patio window facing into the room, with the microphone facing into the base of the bucket, the same was done with a metal saucepan and a wooden 3 sided box.
